What do you get when you mix up a bit of Van Halen with the beats of Chili Peppers with the sick licks of guitar master Satriani? That's right, a friggin hard rockin' band! Satriani, Hager, Chad Smith, and Micheal Anthony are teaming up and I just read about em in guitar world magazine. Looks like a album releasing June 5th along with a European tour in June and July. I heard a couple of their songs at www.chickenfoot.us and I'm definitely excited to see what kind of sound these guys establish!

I heard about this maybe half a year ago and I thought it was just a rumor, but a while back i stumbled upon their website and I was pretty pumped. I'm really looking forward to their Cd release in June. They're gonna be awesome. All of these guys are musicians who's talent I admire.

Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine did a solo show up here in the S.F. Bay Area about 2 weeks ago and Sammy and Joe S. both showed up. They did a cool 'Rock Candy' and a couple other tunes..no Michael A. or Chad S. though.
