Please, this is Not an advertisement. I'm a student here at Guitar Tricks. I just found these yesterday and I'm so excited about it I want to share them with everyone. I was checking out a website for dulcimer lessons and found a link to this site. There are two programs I think everyone might be interested in.
One is called the Amazing Slower Downer. It plays CD's and you can slow down the music without changing the pitch or you can change the pitch to tune the CD to your guitar. You can create loops so you can play a chosen part of a song over and over again. It will save the loops you make so you can jump around easily.
Now this one blew my socks off. It's called the Ultimate DVD Player. It works like the Slower Downer but plays DVD's. You can create loops anywhere in the DVD you want, slow them way down, speed them up, repeat them over and over without your hands ever leaving the guitar. You can change the pitch to tune the DVD to your guitar. It will save the loops so you can jump around. It's really frustrating to me to try to learn something from a DVD, trying to see what's going on and keep up with it etc. This thing will slow it down and repeat it over and over. I can hardly believe it, it's the best thing since chocolate pudding. They are a little expensive but only about what you would pay for a DVD lesson. Check them out and see what you think.
Regards, Clark
