Finish up the WeeBeastie 5 Watt power amp. I've stuck a few things together, so I know it works, but I still have to add some means of adjusting the plate voltage, incorporate a DI port, and package the whole thing so I can get it out of my lab, and into use.
Devote more time to actual practice. As has been pointed out by wiser souls than I, a couple of hours of 'noodling' is not the same thing at all!
This is the year I get into home recording. I now have my father's hand-me-down SB Live :rolleyes: and a pile of PowerTracks Pro Audio and Band In A Box software from PG Music. It looks like good stuff, but I'll admit to feeling overwhelmed initially.
There's other stuff too, but I can only do one job fast; or two jobs half-fast. Three or more??

Sunn 1200s head and maybe a second 2x15 cab
Take that Jaco Pastoruis CD I just got to heart.
Finally get .012's on my Tele as well as my Strat.
Get into college, or atleast someplace I can play all the time.
I'm thinking about getting a Dean PRS knock off, they look pretty decent for $400. Actually playing one through an amp will hopefully confirm my suspicions.
Happy new year everybody!

Right... I never really do new years "resolutions"... but this is what I wanna do this year:
Get lessons in making guitar...
Actaully make a guitar...
Make a guitar with decent art work (see a pattern emrging)...
Learn as much as possible about electronics...
Make an amp
Maybe enroll in art foundation course (now 4 moths into the actaul course)...
Music theory... understand as much as possible...
RECORD RECORD RECORD!
Write WHOLE songs... not just little doodles or minute long pieces...
Train voice... I can sing in a sense that I hit notes.. but the old voice needs some training... as well as do something about my lungs...so the next one is obvious
GEt fit (again, like the old days)!
Learn to play keyboard and harmonica...
This may seem a little over ambitous.. but I've got nothing to do for the next nine months (hopefully after that uni)... So loooaaads of time for me to do stuff I wouldn't have had time for if I'd went to uni last autum...

Here we go (it looks like we're all sticking to guitar related stuff, so I'll do the same) -
actually start practicing again.
finish some songs and write some new ones.
learn some new classical stuff.
finish learning keyboard (I kinda got bored with it and stopped)

As Charles Dickens is reputed to have said...
"May you work like you don't need the money;
May you love like you've never been hurt before;
And may you dance like no-one is watching!"
:D :D :D :D :D
