This may seem like a strange question but does anyone know anywhere online etc where I can buy good quality long guitar straps. I'm over 6"2' and all the local guitar shops near me (in the UK) only sell the standard size straps which leaves my guitars round my chest! At the moment I'm having to thread two straps round each other to get the right length.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction

Thanks

I'm over 6'7" and I've always found straps that were long enough. Granted I don't sling the guitar below my waist.

Having two put together is one way to go. Another would be to have someone who sews make you one or go to a shoe repair/cobbler or leather worker and have one made. Maybe a kid at school could make one as an art project?

Good luck and no matter what length, make sure the strap stays on the guitar!

I though bass straps were longer... So they're just the same length? Strange...

I'm 6'5", and I've never had a problem. Just go down to your local music shop, and get a standard, adjustable strap. I like to play with the guitar pretty low, and all the straps I've had have been long enough.

In case all else fails, try this link -
