Hi Guys, I am trying to carry out the lessons by Lisa, I am finding that my hand and forearm are hurting me, I have short stubby fingers with small hands and the most difficult thing is to lay each finger down one after the other without lifting the 1st fingers off.

It just does not seem to be getting easier, 7 days now, is anyone else struggling, any tips or is it ok to lift the fingers and cheat?

Any tips or tricks appreciated.

When I first started to play (um, try to play?) guitar I found it nearly impossible to fret the 4th fret with my pinky without lifting the other fingers. Now I can stretch my pinky up to the 5th fret. Keep working at it, you'll improve.
