What are you looking for eaxactly?
The first things you'll want tolook at are technique (Bending, sliding, tapping, hammer-on, pulloff, sweep/economy/alternate picking) and scales (major, minor, Pentatonic)
Then you'll want to work on theory.
You should be able to find these lessons by sorting by category in the drop down menu on the lesson pages.

I have tried other courses (jamaroma etc.) but didn't care for them.

Hey, and welcome to the site.
I would like to learn to play lead guitar. I play a bit but am not proficient at it.
I don't know exactly what your skill level is, so please don't take any of these suggestions the wrong way. If something is below your level, then feel free to skip it and move on until you get to where you are being challenged and learning new knowledge and skills. :)
Also, if you are completely unfamiliar with playing single note lines on the high thin strings, then you might find it useful to go all the way through the beginner courses. Some of the lessons listed below are part of the courses.
http://guitartricks.com/course.php?input=1
http://guitartricks.com/course.php?input=2
There you will find some of the below lessons in a wider context and get practice at playing simple single note melodies that can help your conceptual understanding of what a melody is and get practice at playing them.
Also, after those courses the rock, blues and country courses have lots of great info that can help you get moving toward playing leads.

I would like to learn to play lead guitar. I play a bit but am not proficient at it.
I have tried other courses (jamaroma etc.) but didn't care for them.
I started playing 25+ years ago but took time off until recently. Even though I'm a pretty skilled player and had a pretty good grasp of a number of styles, when I came to GT and signed up for the lessons program, I went back to Fundamentals 1 and 2 (ok, I liberally skipped things on 1 but I wouldn't recommend it), particularly in Fund#2, you get a sense of major and minor scales. Without this knowledge, any lead playing is all but useless. For me, I took it as a refresher but still found it to be useful even though I pretty much knew the stuff. Learning the C Maj, A mn scales gives you a good grasp of where to go in leads. It also gives you a really good layout of how the fretboard works and is a good basis for understanding future things likes modes and many vocabularies of style licks.
If I can go back and do it, you can.... ;)
