Gothic Series Guitars

Hey there folks,

Recently my main axe met an untimly demise so Ive been seaching for a replacement. I've been seriously looking at one of the Gibson Gothic series guitars, specificlly the SG. Does anyone have experience in this line of guitars? If so, can you give me some feedback on what you thought of the instrument? How well did the stock pickups perform, etc?

I tried one at a guitar shop the other day, it was pretty sweet. Had a great feel, except I don't like the raised bridges of Gibsons.
