Hi all,

I just wanted to give a heads-up about a new series of lessons that I recently posted here on Guitar Tricks, called Acoustic Fingerpicking for Beginners. The first two of several tutorials are now up, with more to come soon.

These are beginning-level lessons which will work well for new guitar players, but also for experienced guitar players who are ready to add a new technique to their bag of tricks.

Here are the links:(for some reason the URL's are not posting to this forum as clickable buttons, so please cut and paste into your browser - sorry!)

I welcome your feedback!

Lisa,

Bravo! Another fine piece of work. I always find your lessons easy to follow. Even for someone who's all thumbs, like me. ;) Keep them coming.

Oh, and by the way... The url links were turned off in an attempt to stop the spammers.

EDIT: Are these exercises easier or more difficult using a thumb and finger picks? I find I have trouble getting a uniform sound from the strings I use my thumb on and the strings I use my fingers on.

Hey John,

If fingerpicks work better for you, go for it.
