hey i just got my guitar in the summer (i bought a fender fat strat) i can play somethings and im takin lessons so i dont suk ....does any i know some songs that arent pathedicly easy but are moderate such as the eagles or somethin that sounds good but its not so easy ull get sick of it in 2days

Try nothing else matters by metallica its got some easy open picks to play and then it gets into the good stuff

Just about all of Metallicas songs are easy to play. A couple of them have a few hard, fast, fingering runs, but they arte all pretty easy to me and a few Nirvana songs are easy if you can read tabs well :)

Put on a AC/DC cd tune to it and play along easy but not boring just have fun pretty soon you'll be able to play solo's all around Angus.

Yeah, Metallica, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, old Van Halen, 80s Judas Priest, are all great bands to start with.
