So I got a cheap used, barely though, squire strat from a friend a couple weeks ago, and aside from the few dents put into it, it looked fine. then I accidentally broke the little e string with a screwdriver (don't ask how) and so I needed to get some new strings. I got the new strings, and when I finally got to borrow my cousins tuner, it broke again! the tuner said it was flat as wall. but that's not the problem. under closer inspection, I notice a bunch of cracks in it. for one, there are cracks by where the bridge is screwed in, and I can actually move it. I don't see and or think there is a way to fix this, so instead of buying a new guitar, does ayone know of a place to buy cheap strat bodies? I think I might just re-use the hardware and the neck, but for a last resort but a new guitar.
to sum it up: WHERE CAN I GET A NEW, CHEAP STRAT BODY THAT HAS THE SAME ROUTING AS MY SQUIRE?
thanks in advance
EDIT:: well, I solved the problem (kinda). I searched ebay and got a good deal on an epiphone SG, so that should be good... 'cause sg's are awsome, due to bands like AC/DC... but some suggestions would be nice, so I can fix the strat up.
