I have recently experienced a life changing moment with the passing of my best friend and partner..my wife of 35yrs and it has made me re look at my world sometime its easy to get distracted and blinded by the unimportant in the world' "How do I fit in with the scheme of things; as a musician the general public sometimes sees US as just literally 'playing' along not really contributing say on the level of doctors or scientist..But I say where would they be without the music and art that "We" produce.not because of what we want but rather we "artist" have a unique talent and task to reflect thru our music the conditions (feelings) of the world around us..When we get it right the world in genral responds and rejoices in our talent..!!! So thank you Anna for reminding me of what and how I fit in the general scheme of things..not to mourn but celebrate the life of a fellow traveler in this wild ride called life , to share the joy and Pain with others (who may not have the talent to express THEIR emotions of joy or loss..Thank God for blessing me with the talent and I pray we "artist" all have the strength to hang in there and be faithful servants to "Our" mission..voice for others as well as ourselves no matter how unrewarding it may seem at times.." Ya do what ya do cuz you have to" ;) music and art in general is the Universal Olympics..needing no flag or country and is undertood by all regardless of language ..play on people as my wife said:"Keep It Real, Keep It Positive" :) :rolleyes: :p
