good guitar amps

i need a new amp, i want sumthin good 4 metal for under $2000 australian. has any1 played those hughes and kettner amps? r they n e good?

I have tried one, but I can't remember the model... I thought it was good for clean sounds and big distortion, but not in between, so you might find it good for your style...
