Hi, the rule here is that everyone present himself before says something, so I will present myself.
So, hem, well... :D
I play guitar for seven years, mostly classical, even if I like play electric guitar too.
I listen metal (power, and symphonic metal), but less and less, because it's wearisome, and I've discovered Jamiroquai (okay, it's famous, but I didn't know before =) ), and I'm more and more glad when I listen funk. I don't know if in USA many people likes funk; but I think so. In France, and it's where I live, (you can see my level in english), It's more Cradle of Firth OR Beyonce (for teenagers, I mean)...
Yes, it's distorded, but there is a part of verity, isn't there?
So, for the end, I finish to tell my life: I'm 15 years old, I'm a french girl who likes to draw and play music. I live in the southen France, nearest of Spain and Mediterranean Sea. :)

Hey everyone, first time for everything so...

Well, my name is Nolan. Im 16 years old, live in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Ive played guitar for abut a year and a half, but am progressing rapidly thanks to online communities such as this. I already can play stuff like One (Metallica) and Children of Decadence (COB). As you may have noticed from the above songs, i LOVE metal. Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, JFAC, etc. Im a cool guy thats in a band going nowhere (sadly). My dream is to be in a good band someday, signed, and whatnot. But for now, ill keep on practicing (i gotta nail those sweeps!) I use a Dean Razorback (awesome), its totally a metal guitar. :cool: I got vids on youtube (from about a year ago, lol) so i gotta get some more up. Wow, im really random arent i ?!? :rolleyes:

Well, since people are introducing themselves...
Hi! I'm new to this site. before you make an assumption about my name, Captain Anarky is just an inside joke with my friends and I. I don't play and listen to only punk(but I do like it). To be familiar, you can call me Antoine, my french name.
To start, I've been playing guitar for about four and a half to five years, and I'm 15 years old. I don't view myself as an amazing guitarist, but I have improved greatly over the last few years, and have been in a few bands. I had to teach myself to play, so I learned rather slow, and I can't read music. Only tablature. Due to my dad's musical background I listen to a very wide range of music. Just about everything but country, hip-hop/rap, and pop. But if I had to pick a favorite genre, it would be Metal(Iron Maiden, Megadeth, metallica, etc...), Punk(sex pistols, Casualties, etc...), or Blues(Stevie R. Vaghn, Albert King, etc...). I hope I can benifit from this site, and maybe help a few people myself. :D
