I am so happy to have found this site! I love music and I love to play my guitar. I'm not as good as all of you but I am getting there. This site sure will help me get there.

I don't like when people put themselves down.

We are all here and trying. Thats all that matters and more than most people will ever do with themselves!!! Attitude is everything! Keep learning and you rule!

You are so right. Some people waste their lives doing nothing but criticizing and trying to run everyone else's life and never DOING anything. Other people realize that that is not the way and they spend their lives in worthwhile pursuits, such as learning new things. None of us is perfect, but as long as you keep trying to learn, you are awesome!

Hey there! Welcome aboard!
I'm a newbie here myself and also from MI...south of Flint, the Fenton area if that means anything. ;)
Cool to see a fellow Michigander/Michiganite/Michigonian...whatever we call ourselves here (I'm originally a Minnesotan...so I don't really have the proper local terminology down yet. LOL)

Later,
Don
