Hey! All!

Can anyone share the benefits of becoming a member to the Nashville Songwriters Association. I Live near Nashville and was thinking of joining but membership prices are steep. They do review a couple of your songs and I would like to start networking.

thks in Advance

Networking is the best thing you can do as a songwriter, My sister-inlaw is a memeber. I've written a few pieces a music for her. I'll ask her when she gets back. She now lives in Nevada but used to live in Nashville. Will get back to you in a few days...

This is a little unrelated, but I live in Clarksville. It's like a 30 minute drive north of Nashville, 2 hours from Memphis. We get a lot of music festivals. I know the big groups and players so I got stuck doing roadie work, but it was really cool being with the band

I will be in nashville in June and hope to promote some of my songs to a local guy up and coming on the nashville scene. We actually have a home down in McEwen Tn, Not far from Clarksville may be we could hook up for some back yard picking.

Sounds awesome. Doesn't Rivers and Spires or Riverfest (whichever it is) start soon?
