I recorded this in one take. I was a bit rushed to explain why I don't like calling modes with the same notes "the same thing." Since I didn't bother editing it or warming up before I started playing (haven't played in a few days) you'll be hearing me mess up quite a bit. Please forgive me. Also forgive me for making all these excuses.

I can't listen to downloaded music at work :(

But I will listen to it later.. I also don't consider them to be the same thing in practical terms either.. but when the conventional method of explantion fails, another method of explanation needs to be used. :)

No, I understand. In a way it's also good to refer to them as "the same." It's a case of both/and rather than either/or.

Hahaha, you'll find a lot of them. In fact, I say the 7th is one of your strong leading tones. When really the 7th is THE leading tone. There aren't any others that go by that name.

I'm not going to be anal retentive, though, and I won't let that mistake bother me.

Good stuff! My only suggestion on any improvements would only be on your video itself. I would suggest getting more of your hands and guitar into the picture. Once again Good stuff!
