Has anyone ever heard of this amp is it good for metal????? please tell me you commets on this amp.

For the cash, this is a great amp. Good grindy tones. I personally only use tube amps, but I am totally impressed with this head.
I spend alot of time at a music store that is a Crate dealer.....
BTW...I've only listened/played with this head through the 2 4/12 cabs Crate sells as a set.
Plenty of volume, way more than I'd ever need. Good harmonic response-pulling out Zack Wylde type squeals is real easy...
Reverb is ok when used in small amounts.
Go try it....you'll probably like it, especially if this is your first 'big' amp.
