Pickups

I really dont know much abput pickups. I guitar I was looking at has a pair of zebra seymour duncans. What are these pickups good for and are the versitile. Also it would be great if you could give me a short list of some pickups and what there good for.

If your looking at S&D, look at the JB's for your bridge. Very versitile and sounds great, thye're a pretty popular pickup.
