Hi!

I posted this earlier under a wrong discussion, didn't see this "listening-threads" at first..

I simply want some comments on my music, which I've sort of played myself blind on, if you know what I mean. Difficult to tell whether your songs are any good or not, because you heard it, played it and changed it so much.. That's why I need some outside opinions, to get some perspective and improve...

Please, be honest :)
(Just used the mic in the mac, but the soundquality turned out fine.)

So, here's "Join Me" :

Very nice!!! :) Really well done. The guitar work is solid and catchy - nice, bouncy rhythm and it's perfect for the lyrics. The lyrics are pop-ish but perfect for the song. The big plus is your voice. You sing really well. I really like it. I am sure I'll listen to that one several more times.

Good job. :) Of course, you have to post more now! ;)

It was pretty good man. I liked it. It could be remixed maybe to bring the music up a bit, but that could just be my laptop speakers, who knows.

The only thing that actually bothered me was the "silver into gold" line. Just in my opinion, kinda cheesy. The rest of the lyrics were great though, honestly. Well sung. not many people have a voice that can be so prominent in a song and still sound good, so congrats I guess. :)

wow, thanx! nice to hear :)
Nice to get some pointers too, like the "silver into gold" line. Maybe I'll reconsider it if I'm ever to record it properly..

Very nice piece of composition. You are one of the few ppl , I think, have a gift of a great voice quality and 'your type' usually have the same talking voice as your singing voice....sounds strange?

I love this song, another refreshing piece , away from all the amp-ed up distortion/heavy-wannabe stuffs that are filling up the internet.

If I had an acoustic gtr, I would love to do something like this.

Great effort!
