Any tips or suggestions on playing the F chord?

(Only play the top (highest in pitch) 4 strings)

||--T--|-----|-----|-----|

(The T is your THUMB.. curl it over the top of fret board)

||--1--|-----|-----|-----|

(This is a standard barr chord)

Try playing the same shape, but up the neck a few frets where it's easier to play. Gradually, you'll gain some strength and you'll be able to nail it. Don't give up!
