Can anyone tell me how often these 'free' lessons are replaced with new ones?

Is there any access to the previous 'free' lessons?

I don't know how often the free lessons are updated, but there are many free lessons on the internet. Google "free guitar lessons". Just remember, you get what you pay for.

Nothing will replace a good instructor sitting down with you face to face.

I think free lessons in the beginners area are permanently in place.
However, the 2 free lessons per instructor are replaced whenever the instructor decides to change them. I usually change mine when I get some down time so it's maybe once every couple of months or so. I have no idea what the other guys do though.
