it finally happened to me

i was jamming out the other night...really getting into what i was doin....wanking/noodling/nothing in particular...and my wife started laughing....because.....

because...

my mouth started moving to the notes i was playing..
when i was younger i thought that was so funny
when i saw guitarists "singing" the notes they were
playing...

so it finally happened to me

i must be chronic. i move my mouth even when i'm listening to cd's, radio, etc. its embarrassing to be sitting at the stoplight, moving your mouth and face to a solo, and realizing there are people looking and laughing at you! do any of you make "wah" faces?

I've never been too comfortable with my voice, however for the most part I always gave into the urge to sing along with the compositions I've written over the past few years. Because despite whether or not you can really belt out those notes with your throat muscles, it's impoortant to find comfort in your voice, which definitely adds to your playing. I grew up singing and learning Bob Dylan tunes, so I've always taken the casual road when it comes to singing, nothing too fancy.
