anyone know how to get that weird flange effect adam uses in aenema and lateralus, sounds like some foreign instrument like a sitar, when he hits his low d? or that great really spacy ambient sound billy uses in a perfect circle for leads?

but I know there a guitar/sitar that actually sounds like a flange but better, you can hear it in "for the love of god"
maybe he has one of those?
