Help!!!

Hey guys, anyone know where its possible to download free java support software? the reason i ask is that when GT had a chatroom i couldn't use it because my PC doesn't support java and it's no longer available to download from Microsoft, now there's a sort of petition goin on to try and reinstate the chatroom and if this happens i really wanna be able to offer my support and use it, please help!
