Fender Starcaster

Just came across a few Fender Starcasters at a deal, bought a couple to hot rod. Anyone else did any custom work to the starcasters? these are the arrow shaped head, not the strat head, but the necks coming off, going with real Fender necks. Feedback please.

Theres a guy around here named Pure that I think modded a Starcastor. I dont know about electronics, but last I heard he was working on a custom paintjob. He penciled in a few guitarists, Hendrix, SRV and someone else I think.
