Thanks for the great response. A LOT of members volunteered to help out.

I picked zeppelin and educatedfilm for this forum. I think they will do well.


This time last year, we had about 1000 members. Now we have 13000. Wow. I couldn't even guess why that happened. We need mods now way more than we did before.

Anyway, a lot of hosts were put in as moderators more or less against their will. I just needed more help than we had. So, I am going to send them a note asking if they mind stepping aside.

A lot of spots will open up. If you're interested in moderating one of the other forums, I'd like to hear from you.

Here are the guidelines to become a moderator
1. at the site generally every day.
2. has been a member for at least 6 months.
3. doesn't fight with other members, get angry, or use the word "sucks" or the word "lame".

If you are interested, send an email to webmaster@guitartricks.com. Be sure to include your username in the email, verify that you meet the guidelines, and tell me whether you would moderate any or only certain forums.

by the way, I almost banned bardsley before i figured out it was a joke. which was pretty funny, really. ironic.

I broke my arm and moved to a new apt, sorry it took so long to get this done. slow typing and no dsl.
