I think I've become addicted to poker

So me and several of my friends have started playing a LOT of poker recently. I've won a few pots (buy-in's only a dollar), and man, even when I lose I'm having a ridiculous amount of fun. Usually the pots are around 6-9 dollars, so winning or losing's never that big a deal, but I'm starting to want to play every day. Anybody else insanely in love with Texas hold 'em?

Yeah, I like watching the WSOP on ESPN and I play online every now and again at betzip.com. When I go to Albuquerque my mom likes to take me to the casino so I usually spend the entire time at the poker tables. I usually lose a hundred though because those people do it for a living. Definatly alot of fun though.

Since you made this post, I decide to go play a little because it's been awhile Look what happened! Since I placed 11th I get invited to a $10,000 tourney in June. :D So thanks Jolly for rekindling my love of poker. If I win I'll cut you in.

I love poker. Face to face poker wins over online poker though; you lose the psychological aspect with online poker.

Yeah, we play at least one night a week and every two or three weeks we have a full blown poker tourney with like 30 people and bartenders and everything. When I go out (which is usually pretty early), I plug in the acoustic and play for everyone else. :)

I love poker. Face to face poker wins over online poker though; you lose the psychological aspect with online poker.
For me, I'd lose the conversation and jokes. I mostly use the bets rather than the faces to tell what people have.

dude, I haven't been into poker for awhile... I remembered when I was like 10 years old and I played it for money. I won like 50 bucks, I swear. And that was a lot to me back then. :D
