Melodic minor modes

Anybody know some good chord progressions or songs to use melodic minor modes over, like locrian b4 or #2???

Any jazz song with a minor 2-5-1 will sound good with melodic minor modes

eg:

Am7b5 - D7 - Gminor

You would play:

The A dorian b2 over the Am7b5
The D super locrian over the D7 (also known as the altered scale)
And then the G Melodic minor over the Gminor.

The D7 isn't usually just a D7, it will usually be altered in some way like a b9 or a #5 or something.

It's jazz theory and doesn't really relate easily to any other style. To be honest, it can be quite hard to put that kind of theory into practice, so you probably won't ever need to know about the use of lydian augmented scales unless you're a theory buff.
