If you wanna learn to read music for the guitar. I can recommend one great book I'm working through. It is Mel Bays Complete Method for Modern Guitar. It is all 7 volumes of the Modern Guitar Method put into one book. I have been enjoying this book,and my sight reading has improved tremendously.Get it off amazon used and save some money.

Just thought I'd share.

I'd also recommend "The AB guide to music theory", by Eric Taylor.

Taught myself to read music from this book, and I know many others who swear against this book.
