Fender Squire Bass

I've had a Fender squire bass for about two years - despite adjusting the bridge height it's always had a lousy action - anyway tonight I took an allen key to the truss rod - i tightened it by about half a turn and was amazed what a difference it made - in fact I had to raise the height of the bridge to stop the fret buzz.

I've been playing it for about an hour and it's brilliant - I was just surprised that I had to re-adjust the bridge height.
