because i dont make enuf mony right now to become a full memeber of this awesome website i have decided to make a banner.....you might say ...what a banner,big deal.....but any advertisment is good advertisement....this banner will be placed on all my band pages and we have a sh!tload of them...
this banner will be a animated gif....ok picture this.........
guy walks into the pic and a guitar follows he then turns around and says sit the guitar sits he then says roll over the guitar rolls over ...he then says play dead the guitar plays dead he then says beg the guitar begs and he throws it a new pack of strings....then flashes www.guitartricks.com.....we cant teach your guitar tricks but we can damn sure show you something.......
again you might say big deal a banner woopdedo but it takes alote of time to make one im thinking ill spend atleast a week or more makeing it....maybe over 150 200 hours.....but any how what ya think ...can you picture it....
i think it will be hot ase hell.........

Sounds great but you should talk to Jon before going ahead with anything.
He may want to have a say in how the site is represented.

Great idea. What software will you use to create it. I,m a psp man myself with animation shop and i can tell ya that will be on BIG file when done.

An animated gif it's too heavy?

I know that for web porpuse 1 Mb is huge file... I'm an Art Director and sometimes I work on files up to 1.5/2 Gb, but those are hi res photoshop layered files.

How heavy you think it would be? (I'm just curious, I really don't know much on web design but I found it pretty intresting).

I like the animated gif idea, but we need to stick with the original logo of the site for the most part. Here's a small graphic that I had done a while back for something, but just made it into a little banner... If Jon agrees to you making a banner, and wants you to use our original logo, I will be glad to send the unedited graphic to you in whatever size and format you need. Nothing like this should be done without Jon's approval first though.
