The Texans beat the Colts! Coming with a dismal season record 4-10, and one of their worst displays at the Patriots last Sunday (40-7), they pulled through to beat em in the 4th quarter. I wasn't even going to watch this game today, as they were 0-9 historically against the Colts, but I walked past the tv to see them up 14-0 which perked my interest. Manning was able to tie it twice, one of those being at 24 in the 4th quarter, but a classic 2 min drill gave the Texans field goal range for a 48 yarder.
Wow. Great game. Definitely the highlight of the still horrible season.

My Broncos have recovered. Let's see what the kid Cutler can do in the Playoffs.

Colts : Grossly Overrated
The Colts are tragically becoming exactly what the Yankees have been the past 7 years.... A group of talented players that are too old with a playbook that's all the same... Hard to win when you have an undersized defense AND your best defensive player out with injuries...
The San Diego Chargers are going to be really hard to beat... But for the NFC the road to the Super Bowl goes through Chicago..... and that'll be a tough task... DAAAA BEARS

Agree. Feel bad for the Colts. They have been in the right position for a number of years but just can't close the deal. I think that you're going to see the Chargers and the Bears in the Bowl this year. That'll be a good one.
Just as long as it's not the Ravens...yeech

Yup. After that miserable whommping by the Ravens again on Sunday, I fully expected to see people lined up on the bridges around here on Monday. The word around the 'Burgh is that Cowher will be gone after this year. Hmm. We might be entering a bad time for the mighty Black and Gold for some time to come.
Ah well, at least we have the Pirates....oh wait, they really stink. Hmm. There's the Penguins. Nope. They're pretty bad too. Basketball? No. Soccer? No.
Oh man, it's going to be a long, long year.... :(

Um... try being a Tampa Bay fan. Win the Super Bowl (12-4), then follow it up with a 7-9 season and then an impressive 5-11 season. Then, last year, win your division and go 11-5 again (maybe we don't really suck that bad).
Enter 2006... 4-12. sigh :(
It's crazy that Tampa is a hockey town now.
