Ive seen a couple of them on the internet, but its really hard and expensive to get one.

Looks like a guitar with some added bass strings to me.

yeah, sept those strings are higher pitched then regular guitar strings.

Yeah, it looks like it's just a regular 6 string with the extra bass strings. Pretty cool... I'd rather have it built in a double neck fashion... where the bass strings could actually be fretted... With that design you're pretty limited on what you can play with the bass strings. You can only play open strings.

that is true about not being able to fret stuff, but i guess u cant fret the bass neck and the treble one at the same time on double neck.

i think its funcky, but its omly another five notes which is pretty limited

it would be possible to play it with a slide... but without fret markers you better hope that your ear is very highly trained to pitch. haha

i don't know if i'd want a double neck with a bass and a 6 string... i'd much rather have the traditional 12 string/6 string double neck...
