I'm surprised there aren't any posts recognizing The Great Frank Marino!!!
If you're not familiar with this shredder, I recommend checking him out, if you like Guitar even a little bit. I hear so much influence in Dropped tuning nowadays that a lot of the standard 440 recorded masterpieces are falling to the wayside. Although I listened to his amazing riffs on a 33 speed turntable, Yeah the old school, you could just pick up the needle and move it back to rewind. Trust me, it's the fastest rewinder ever made!!!!! Known by many as "Hendrix brought back to life", Frank Marino shocked the industry when he played @ Cal Jam II Festival on March 18th,1978 in Southern Calif.
His style and flair shines in "TheAnswer", "Juggernaut", "Strange Dreams",
"Dragonfly" and the amazing 12 barre blues cover "I'm a King Bee" to name a few. Great musician to jam to, but difficult to keep up with in certian measures. Check him out.

I read that Marino still plays with the same SG he used to record his debut at 16 years old. I guess some never change. Glad I wiped off the dust, there are some gems under all that soot. Travers too, although I prefer Marino's style overall.
