Last night my friend Skyler sent me this song called "Girl Anachronism" by a band called the Dresden Dolls. I really really enjoyed it.
Interesting lyrics + confusing song structure + oddball music = happy Brendon.
Check 'em out. (http://www.dresdendolls.com)

I listened to that same song, many times, and enjoyed it immensely.

I like the Dresden Dolls. They're a band who take risks - genuine musical risks, not record-label-manufactured "risks".

Sweet. Jamming on a diminished chord.
This is actually pretty ****ing interesting. And the lyrics are pretty damn good.

Know what I love about Girl Anachronism? Whenever I listen to it, I am literally physically incapable of reading anything, because I have to pay so much attention to listening to the song for fear that I'll miss something.

This may well be the only song I listen to ever again! I can't get over how amazing it is!

I hope this isn't taken as spamming this thread, but I'm really excited about this band! Sorry if I'm doing something wrong. Just thought I would let you know that Dirty Business is giving Girl Anachronism a run for it's money in the "best song ever" category. Also, you should go to the video (http://dresdendolls.com/video) page and check out those ones. I have also decided that I'm going to marry Amanda Palmer. Just try and stop me.
