I'm somewhat computer illiterate...just got a computer a month ago. I wrote and recorded a song about my terminally ill German Shepherd. I would like to put the song on my website but the site says it needs to be in a certain format or file. My song is already recorded on a cd...can anyone help with getting it on my webpage?

It probably needs to be made into an .mp3, lots of applications can do that, but if you're not on a Mac, I can't help you out too much. From there it has to be uploaded to a webpage, and needs to be linked.

Get Real Jukebox rom real.com

Record it from the Cd then upload it.

If your songs on Cd, juyst get "audio catalyst"... it's fairly user frendly, and quite common... just do a search, or ask a couple of your freinds.... it converts cd adudio to mp3 (it does the wav step in the middle but it doesn't ell you about it, so it doesn't complicate matters.. i think)...

Yeah, for CD ripping, Audio Catalyst is probably the best.

Go to http://www.xingtech.com/ to get it. It's $29 bucks, but it's defintely worth it. Or you can get a shareware version. Or . . . if you ask nicely I'll put the install program up on my website for download. It's about 3 megs.
