has anybody got or tried one of these and what do they think?
i have seen one off these second hand and it seems a decent price (170 GBP) for a all tube amp, any help would be greatly appreciated

I've never heard that particular model, but I do know that Laney makes some very nice amps. Can you try it out before you buy it?

I have never played that model, but I once owned a Vc50, which was a great amp...at the time I was playing with way too much distortion, so I never really used its dirty channel, but it had some sweet sweet clean tones and some awesome bluesy crunch.

I used a VH100R for years, and it was probably the most versatile amp I've ever owned.

Laney are great... and Paul Gilbert loves 'em.

When boutique amps are reviewed (a cornford harlequin for example) they pretty much always say the laney 15w job is almost as good and a fraction of the cost.

I've never used that model, but Laney amps are cool, and I doubt you'll regret it.
