I have an old music man pre-circuit board "sixty five" amp. I now have
one of these little Line 6, Spider I, 50 watt, effects amps.
Can I combine them? I know the "big boys" always have 2 Marshall amp heads and cabinet stacks.
So can I feed my tube amp into this little effects amp? Or vice versa?
I like the Spider to mess around, now I am wondering if I can use it like an effects pre- amp or combine both speaker outputs with the tube amp??
Let me know what you think? Other than you know...cause I already am aware that I am one of "those" hahaha.

Does the Line 6, Spider have a pre amp in? That how to do it.

I suggest getting an A/B/Y pedal so you can run both amps at the same time, or choose one at a time to play through....

If the Spider has an effects send or a line out, you could run it into the tube amps effects return, or the instrument in, or vise versa, depending on which amps sound you want. Doing it like JFRICK said, with an A/B/Y switch will let you get the tone of both amps at the same time, instead of the tone of one amp playing through both.

I like the ab-y switch idea. I'll try that 1st. Thanks to all+++

Glad we could help....

Here's a link to the A/B/Y switch I use. It's a great pedal, I highly recommend it.
