I went to see them in concert in the early 80s at Newcastle City hall.

Apparently the bass player Pete Way of UFO fame legged it which left Fast Eddy to carry on with out him!

Fastway were supported by a band called Waysted when I went to see them which also contained... yep Pete Way !!
