I happened to read a small 2 line ad in the paper here of a free concert by a flamenco guitarist last weekend, so I went and checked it out. He was awesome! It was just him, a rythym guitarist, and a guy on percussion (bongos, cymbals, and such). I bought one of his cd's and had him sign it...listening to it all this week, I'm even more impressed. Instrumentals with blazing fast lead runs, melodic chords, and tons of rythym. Apparently he's actually a chart topping, award winning artist. I'd never heard of him, but that doesn't mean much. Mediterranea is the album I purchased...so if you're into that kinda music, I highly recommend it if you see it at a store, or if you wanna order it.

Is Flamenco like the kind of syle in "Panfilo" by Rebel meets Rebel?

Truthfully, I don't know, as I'm not familiar with that song. But the link above to his site has a sample player...change the album to Mediterranea (or any other album) and you can hear a sample of every song on there. I just say he's a flamenco player, but you can clearly hear other influences as well.
