You SOB! :D

I'd take last years gigantour (ya DT!) but just getting Clapton tickets is pretty commendable...$100...err enjoy the show. Weren't the cream reunion ones like $3000 or something?

I saw Clapton play the Allbert Hall a couple of months back, and it was very very good. Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall backing him up were cool too - Love the way Bramhall plays a right handed guitar left handed without re-stringing it..... chord shapes look crazy upside down!

Robert Cray supported, and joined them all on stage for a jam.... Clapton is cool. A drunk bloke started dancing about on the edge of the stage, and when security tried to eject him, Clapton says 'C'mon. he's only having fun'.... what a dude....

He was my first inspiration to play guitar - Hope you enjoy...

There are no words in the English language to describe my insane jealousy, except for "insane jealousy".

Congratulations, mate! The Clapton show ought to be fantastic. I was going to go to Gigantour in Sydney, but I can't because it's the day before one of my HSC exams. Do tell us how the concerts go when they come around!

less concerned abotu the gigantour...........

but i hear clapton is doing less and less of his "slow hand" guitar work in his live performances... seen him at the crossroads festival a few years back.... but i heard with derek trucks backing him up that he's doing less lead work.... just a rumor prolly. ec is one of my favs of all time.... crossroads rock my socks........ abnd his unpulgged performance was like a heart attack.....

Yep ;), and there's a new Megadeth album out at the beginning of next year, which I am ridiculously excited about. It's part of the reason why I wanted to go to Gigantour, to see if they were going to preview any of the new songs.

Well it's about a week before my english exam, so I'm still pushing it. I wouldn't go if it were any closer though.

I'll post some pictures and stuff.
