Numbering

I have a couple of questions regarding the numbering of the riffs. Why does the numbering go from 25 to 27, from 51 to 53, from 77 to 79 and so on? I always get that feeling that I’m missing a riff. When a new riff is added, the ”hidden” riff appears, but why can’t it be there all the time?

Also, I think it would be nice, if the riffs in each section were numbered in succession, so that lick number 456 always would be number 456. In this way I could be sure that I have discovered all riffs.

As far as keeping the numbers the same in succession all the time though, so that they're always the same... I don't know if it's possible.
The numbers will change depending on what search criteria you use or
how you have the lessons sorted. (ie, by name, date or type etc..)
Plus, the site is constantly evolving and changing. New lessons are added and old lessons might be removed, changed or updated.

Instructors might also choose to hide a lesson temporarily while they're working on it. We update the pages online, and sometimes it takes several attempts before we can proofread them and make sure they're displaying properly before making them visible to the public.

I just noticed the same thing with my Lesson Bookmarks today. I'm pretty sure they're all there, I geuss theres just a little bug when going to the next page.

Thanks for a great bug report. It was really easy to understand the problem. It looks like I fixed it. Let me know if I didn't.

The lessons have unique numbers, but we don't show them on the page. However, you can see them in the url, like so:

http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=1003

This will take you to lesson #1003.

The numbers shown on the page just are there to let you know that there are 25 per page. Since different people author in different styles/categories at different times, there isn't a logical "Rock Lesson #302" scheme. Although that is an interesting idea........
