I have to admit that when it comes to programming drum tracks, I have little to know idea what I'm doing. I have two drum programmers, Fruity Loops 3 and HammerHead but I don't feel I can use these to their full potential. Does anyone have any tips or know any websites that give a little tutorial on making good drum tracks? Even makin a pretty standard rock sounding drum track is tough.

Or if there are any drummers who can give me a hand...
see it's not that I odn't know how to use the programs, I just don't know how to program good ones.

Hmmm . . . when did Fruity Loops 3 come out? I've been using this 2.0 piece of crap.

I realize this is a bit off the subject that you asked, but in Fruity Loops 3 can you change the number of notes in each measure/pattern? In 2.0, it only lets you set the # of notes in the patterns for the entire song.

I'm not sure when it came out... when you go to options and Song Settings, you can only choose the amount of beats per measure for the entire song, not specific measures. Is that what you were asking?

btw.. it's easy to get, if you're interested in getting it give me an email. StringDancer@ematic.com

Yeah, that's what I meant.
