Hi guys!
My name's letmedrown and I'm new in this forum; I'm female and I'm from Rome...obviously I play guitar and study music though I'm very young, 17 years old.
A question for all:
anyone here like Alice in Chains?
I need an advice in playing "No excuses".
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome letmedrown. Seems I'm becoming quite the ambassador with first (well, nearly this time!!! I was close!) greetings. Been here a fair amount of time. You'll enjoy it here, nice people, fun atmosphere, intelligent conversation and generally a good time. Just relax, have fun and keep asking questions!!!
By the way - I suspect you're one of only a few women here...In fact, I don't remember having read any posts from other females for a pretty long time...hmmmm.....

Welcome to you new members! I've been here a long time as well, and willdridge is right- this is a great site to learn about anything related to guitar. Yes you are one of the few women here, as far as we know, only you and guitarchic (was that her name? I think so...). Or was it KimiHendrix?

Wasn't she both? She decided to change her name the KimiHendrix for some reason, which she did tell us, but it escapes me...I think that's right...that or I'm think of a different forum...hmmmm.....!
How're you settling in the letmedrown? Having fun yet?

Many thanks guys!
Btw, I solve my problem with No excuses...
It's good to know that I'm the only female here...I'm used to that cause most of my friends are musicians and most of them are male...
Anyway, thanks for the welcome once more!

P.S:my name's letmedrown, and it is the title of a Soundgarden's song.

Welcome, letmedrown - I hope you enjoy the site - there's lots to see and learn! I think we could get a more balanced view of things if there were more female members, so please bring some friends.

Hi everyone.I too am new here and am still finding my way round the site.I'm from Weston-Super-Mare in South-West England and have been playing guitar for about seven years(I'm only 17).Influenced by Hank Marvin,Hendrix,Clapton etc.So far seems like an excellent site with some decent musicians.See ya!

That it is, that it is. Like I said to many others before now, welcome! Just relax and just enjoy the experience. It seems us Brits are slowly taking over though, doesn't it? Hehe - it's a conspiracy, I'm sure. Have fun!

See how I misspelled 'Canadian'. What a shame!
By the way, welcome to our forum stratgod!
