Ok, got a GAX70 that is starting to buzz on low E around the 3rd fret and also the 12th.
I am no guitar tech, but I am not afraid to work on my own gear...just never had much cause before now.
Is this a truss rod problem or something that can be adjusted at the bridge.
Tuno O Matic style bridge.
Sounds like the bridge may need to be raised a bit. Try that, and if the action become too high for you, lower it back down and try a truss rod adjustment. Only turn the truss rod about a quarter turn and let it sit for atleast 30 minutes to give it time to settle...

Buzz on the high frets (9-22/4) is generally caused by low bridge adjustment... Buzz on the low frets (1-9) is generally caused by a lack of relief in the neck... relief is the bow of the neck. You can add some relief by loosening the truss rod just a tad to allow the neck to bend just slightly with the tension of the strings... This allows the strings to vibrate on their elliptical pattern without buzzing...

Thanks man. I didn't get a chance last night to muck with it but I will this weekend for sure.
That basic guide should be stuck up top! 9-22/24 Fret Buzz is at the bridge and 1-8 is neck relief.....man so simple. I am gonna write it down and tape it inside my cases until I remember it!
Thanks,
