very mixed reviews in general on that guitar, but the general consensus you get what you pay for applies.
The good : It's half the price of any other guitar package out there and the Amp is an awesome lil practice amp.
The bad : The guitar is not really destined to last.
If you've got a bit more money then other guitars/packages might be worth more, and if the amp isn't of so much concern you can get a good quality cheap Yamaha guitar for about 165 US$ and get a cheap practice amp for about 30 US$ and you've got a way better guitar and an amp that can pull it's weight.

One of my friends got the Berhinger set... because he wants to learn how to play guitar... The amp, like has been said... is pretty decent little practice amp. The guitar however... is the epitomy of poor craftmanship. Obviously it's a shear entry level guitar. It's made for people to break their teeth on then basically throw in the corner. I would say if that's all you can afford then go for it. The quicker you get to playing the better. But, if you can spare an extra hundred or so bucks go for a Squire set or some other brand.

I have the Behringer GMX210, which is definatly not the amp in the pack, and probably alot better. Behringer amps are real digital sounding, but they are rugged amps. they arnt cheap and they dont sound fake... just a bit digital.
as for the guitar.... +1 to what they all said. you get what you pay for. usually guitar packs arnt ever good.
