Last night we got together and practiced, taking some pics in the process. Thought I'd share one with you, just for kicks. Acapella is playing bass, I'm playing guitar. The one with the puckery face is Luke.

He really wraps his thumb around the neck of that bass, doesn't he?

He has so much extra thumb, it'd be hard not to.

Holy crap, I DO wrap my thumb around that bass! I didn't even know!
EDIT: Actually I remember now. I wasn't playing it at the time, just holding it in preparation for bass playing soon to come. Silly me.

Ha. We should've got a picture of the floor. There's about an inch of cat crap on it. Soundproof THAT.

I pissed myself laughing reading your website (because it was funny, not because it was pathetic)!! :D Rep points will be forthcoming, assuming I don't have to spread them around.

Good luck with your gigs, by the way.

Thanks for the luck, jiujitsu. Although we sure won't need it playing with those punk kids.

You don't want it, it's to small. Besides, Luke's dad kind of needs it for a pump house.

Hells yeah! I haven't seen it in a long time, what with NHL playoffs pre-empting it every night. They've moved it to Sunday mornings, but I work then, so I have to get my mom to watch it and tell me what happened. :)

Oh, it absolutely is. I still haven't quite gotten the hang of playing guitar standing up, and my wrist is always killing me.

Your strap looks like it's set a bit low. That might help a bit.

Yeah, that strap is actually set about halfway. At its lowest, it can actually reach my ankles. No joke.

Thanks for the tip, Cryptic. Perhaps I'll heighten it.
