At the sake of looking like a bigger idiot than i already am (not sure if thats possible yet, check back with me later) is there much difference between a POD and a spider ? and please dont tell me that the pod is **** and the spider was like a revised edition coz ill.... give the pod back to my mate lol

Huge difference. A POD is an amp modeling and effects unit mostly used for direct recording. A Spider is a type of amp put out by Line 6. It's a good amp but has no where near the processing power of a POD.
