Scratchy/intermittent dial

I have a input dial on a roland recording unit. It gets scratchy if i move it and through certain regions the input meter and moitor volume drop to 0. What can i do to fix this? Can i open her up and clean the dial or do i have to buy a new dial...which i can not see being easy..?

The internal component that knob is connected to needs to be replaced. That pot is probably mounted directly on a printed circuit board, which makes it tricky to work with. Unless you have some soldering skills, this is a job for a tech.

bring it in to a local shop becuse that stuff is dangerous if u donbt have sodering skills but the same thing happened to me it was fixed in a day
