I am practicing many hours on sweep picking, tapping, scales etc. but i have overlooked one of the most important
"uses" of the guitar, i am talking about singing while you are just strumming a few simple chords.
Can you sing? i cant sing "right"... its more likely that one day i will play be playing like Malmsteen than singing decent.
Do you know site that would help me to learn to sing?

Only one way to do it: Practice. Start simple and work your way up.

The best way to learn is to sing with others, sing with your friends, (or even your mom.) Some of us just aren't born with the perfect voice, its just something we have to accept. But its important to try and find your comfortable spot when it comes to singing, because for any musician its important to be able to count on yourself when no one elses is there to sing your master pieces...

Take some lessons, i did last year. It's good to know the basic technique. Then sing as often as you can. I can hear the difference between now and a few years ago.

Don't worry about singing. Leave it to he people that can do it. You say that you are something of a shredder, concentrate on that.
